ISV Spotlight - Nolan Computers
Advanced Bank Reconciliation
Advanced Bank
Reconciliation provides automated bank reconciliation for customers requiring
high volume and/or multi-currency processing.
Cash and bank-related transactions are read directly from the assigned General
Ledger accounts into the reconciliation module. Bank statement information can
either be imported or manually entered prior to reconciliation.
The Reconciliation window allows accounting bank transactions and bank statement
details to be matched together. One-to-one matches are supported as well as
one-to-many. Advanced Bank Reconciliation allows you to match multiple
transactions to single lines on the statement, and vice versa. For example,
multiple cash receipts from the accounting system can be grouped to reconcile a
single bank deposit item.
To assist the matching process, a ‘Propose’ button within the reconciliation
window will automatically attempt to match bank transactions with bank statement
details – this feature helps reconcile the majority of transactions with a
minimum level of effort. Rules controlling the attempted matching are
user-definable and can be tailored to the data.
Advanced Bank Reconciliation supports multiple bank accounts and can track
transactions in multiple General Ledger accounts for a single bank account.
In addition to Bank Reconciliation functionality, the product is also an ideal
fit for customers wanting to reconcile credit card statements. Statements
are downloaded into the product and GL Transactions for credit card activity are
easily made from within the solution.
